Sunday and Monday- Day 2 and 3

I'll keep the posts short and sweet to tell you all about my adventures, and experiences in this VERY DIFFERENT world.

First stop, Daejeon, South Korea.

A long way from home!









Warm in the day, more so than England. Cooler at night.

There are so many pretty cafes within an actual stones throw of my apartment. Alas, it's only for a week then we move again. <photo removed for security reasons!!>

Culture shock of the day: The fridge in our apartment. I have no idea what the majority of this is, bar the milk.



Unidentified wiggly things atop a tupperware of dead fish.



Vacuum packed English pests.


And I kid you not, this is a Korean pear! And the thing she is holding a large piece of fruit... joke- that's my housemate Lauren from Singapore but those fruits in our hands really are mutant pears!!!! I'll give you a taste report tomorrow.


I am a little more tired today, but off to a Korean supermarket in a short while, plus, also sorted out a Korean phone number which is: +82 010 **** 8210. And yes, 8210 is my favourite number and yes, you can select what numbers are in your phone number here! Yay! <phone number blocked out for security... if you need it, please PM me!>
